Stan Kenton - The Lost Concert (DVD)

This engagement in March 1978 does not appear in any of the band's published itineraries. After Kenton's tragic accident in Reading, Pennsylvania, producer Bob Widener decided he wanted to bring him back to Los Angeles for a memorable concert. The defunct Cocoanut Grove club became the venue. Stan's fans rushed to book seats and the event sold out in days. Because of short notice, the engagement never appeared in published itineraries. In 1997, the tapes were discovered in storage, and the Lost Concert video was found!
